Reaching for the Stars
Okay, some of us by now know that there's going to be a new HUB location in Los Angeles. One of our muns did a thread with this two months ago with finding the old Los Angeles HUB nestled in the Hollywood Hills. This was to establish us for the eventual set up to do somethings out there. To follow canon we will be working to make this Torchwood's main establishment, current events with the recent plot will make it easy to give our own reason for Torchwood to be out there.
There's major fault lines, lots of military bases and Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and even Mexico are famous alien hot spots here in the States. It makes sense out there. The fact the events from the shattering rifts part of the All Hands Plot worked to agitate and make this major Rift in Time and Space, one that might dwarf the one in Cardiff. This isn't known and it may never be known.
Jack's currently got people out there working to get that HUB working on the lines of security of the New York HUB with security measures and to update it. Don't mind the 1960's feel to the old place. There will be threads popping up behind cuts due to the spoilerish nature of it. The actual plot for S4 -- we'll see.
Don't worry; Cardiff can still be used and accessed thanks to a transport chamber that is up and running in both HUBS.
