[livejournal.com profile] lizfirestarter here, bringing in the Archive AKA Ivy of The Dresden Files fame.

She's a new muse I made for Bump!Verse and I decided to bring her over here.

THE BASICS
The Archive is the repository of all human knowledge and wisdom.

Translation: If it is in the past or present and known to humankind past or present on planet Earth, she KNOWS. She just does. No stopping it.  She DOES NOT know contain knowledge of the future or other planets UNLESS it has been documented in some way on Earth. For example, she doesn't know about a Jack's Time Agent business, unless of course he's documented it someplace. Are you an AU? She won't know your specific difference. She knows about her planet, which is this Earth and this time.

I'm breaking her off canon at age seven, after she officiates a duel for one Harry Dresden and a Red Court Vampire. The tweak will be as follows. After the duel, her guardian Kincaid left her alone as he is a mercenary she hired and he got a better gig.  Alone, afraid and still unable to reach the pedals, Ivy NEEDS someone to take care of her.

So what is a little girl knows as "The Archive" to do? Seek out an Archivist, of course!

Ivy will be coming in looking for Ianto Jones. I've done a bit of plotting with [livejournal.com profile] mrcoffeejones and [livejournal.com profile] terrorxtrahot about where Ivy will end up, but she'll probably have a special love for ANY Ianto. Forgive her, she'll probably get clingy on you. Kincaid bailing on her...well...it hurt. And she seven, FFS.

She likes crayons, ice cream and animals. Ivy may throw you by speaking like a very wise and calm old woman (think McGonagall in Harry Potter) then suddenly flipping to seven year old hyper and adorable little girl mode. Just roll with it, trust me it's easier that way.

ETA: Whoops. I forgot. Ivy can do magic. To what extent exactly...um...IDK exactly yet. >.> I'm not that far in the books.

Wiki says...

Following the age old adage 'Knowledge is power' Ivy is a phenomenally powerful magical being. During an attack on her person during the events in Small Favor, the eleven year old Archive (Ivy) was able to combat eight Denarians at once and match each of them spell for spell, even with limited spell energy at the time. Captain Luccio stated that the White Council's file on the Archive placed her on par with the youngest Queens of the Sidhe, and Harry commented that the file underestimated her.

So yeah...little kid can kick your ass with her magics. :P

Plottings/ideas/love mail/hate mail? Lay it on me. :d

Intro-ing. BB! Gray. Like teen gray but pint sized. Because I really couldn't tell how old Gray was on the show when they showed Adam. I assumed he was taken about...age 5 or 6 and this Gray is about 8-9 years old. So he's been a slave for a good number of years. He's extremely skittish around adult men for good reason but he's an empath and if someone treats him with kindness he'll slowly open up. Like Teen Gray he likes cooking and drawing but unlike his teen self he doesn't have the same finess in the kitchen so his hands have cuts and burns on them.

Not going to lie. When I do his entrance he's gonna be pretty roughed up. <<
