AU Version of The Doctor and the Wardrobe

Okay, its time to work on a good plot line that gives us both fun in the snow, action and adventure along with the WW2 storyline. But there's something we can do that's different to completely remove the picture of the family from the show and maybe we can work to save the sentient trees. I can still do the prequel if people would rather just fart around in the snow or we can do something worthy of squee! I can run it on the comm or SWS it doesn't matter in the long run.



Here's what I'm thinking of The Doctor goes to take everyone to do the historical Christmas visit to the countryside of World War 2 in an old manor that he fixed up for everyone to enjoy. Yes, he went overboard but of course what fun is a trip if there can't be a little safe trip to the future to play in the snow.

We can have some people discover the tree king and follow him, maybe one of our more mobile toddlers with a parent to chase after them goes in the box. They've went missing, search party, people trail in behind and learn of what's going to happen to the trees. We've got lots of people with Vortex Manipulators and various technical skills that could help stop the trees from being melted down or we end up with a canon ending. So its totally open ended as to where people want to go.

As for the planet itself? There's more than just sentient trees and there's other sentient creatures. Seeing they never touched on this in the ep I'm going to steal the sentient forest creatures and fantasy/mythical creatures (Greek and Western.) from Narnia. So expect villages of centaurs, satyrs, dwarfs, elves and other different creatures that live there. If things go well and eventually we can maybe use the area again for future game play.


If people want to just chill there's the option of the manor house to well chill. Its World War 2 so if you guys want to help a lost pilot find his way to safety, alert others of a German Air Raid or well whatever that's fine too. The portal between both worlds will be accessible for people to slip between the two areas at will.

I'll try to get the post up tomorrow after work on SWS and we can see how it goes. Here's the deal though if people come wanting to honestly play that's great! And, events are taking place after Christmas dinner so yeah its all timey-whimey goodness. Who knows maybe this will become epic fun times. :) And we get both past 1941 and future 53rd century to play in.

I like all of it. My pups are up for everything. I like the idea of our characters helping the trees instead of the family.

I'll throw the first parts info up tonight and we'll hang out a bit in the manor so everyone can get settled before they get the box. This way if I have too many people on SWS I can either open up membership to the comm or make a separate comm for it.

There's going to be lots for everyone to do. I've got lots of ideas!
