Daleks Gotta Catch Them All...

This is going to be something for the people who got left behind to notice or even in previous threads, the new trend among children and geeks alike, toy Daleks have become a big hit. It seems harmless but sometime in the distant future I've got a plan for our toy upside down jars with a bad attitude.

The Dalek toys come in all different sizes, colors with molds from the originals in the 1960's, the Peter Crushing movies and up to New!Who. They talk and say all of the Dalek phrases. They're happy to fight one another and annoy your cat.

For those curious Time Lords or anyone wanting to open one up? Go for it. They're no different then any other electronic toy. A good thing to compare them to would be those little AI dogs. The larger ones can be taught to do things in a cool 80's robot sorta way.

There's one thing, every so often these guys get a little quirky and sometimes a bit cross with their roll in life.


It's just something that's there in the background of the verse for the time being. There's no time limit on when this will end but as time goes on the trend will become bigger and bigger. ;> Every little kid will want a full sized Dalek come Christmas. ;)
